Ingredients
- 200 g nachos (7 oz)
- 300 g ground meat (beef or your choice) (10.5 oz)
- 100 g grated cheese (cheddar or similar) (3.5 oz)
- 2 medium chili, finely chopped
- 8-10 cherry tomatoes, halved
- 3 avocados, ripe
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 large tomato
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 small onion
- salt and pepper to taste
- parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F). Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground meat and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and cooked through (about 7–10 minutes). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread the nachos evenly on a baking sheet or oven-safe dish. Sprinkle the grated cheese generously over nachos. Layer the cooked ground meat evenly on top of the cheese. Scatter the halved cherry tomatoes and finely chopped chili on top.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 5–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Make the Guacamole: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash the avocado with a fork until creamy but slightly chunky. Add the lime juice, finely chopped tomato, minced garlic, diced onion, and chopped chili. Stir until well combined. Season with salt to taste.
- Remove the nachos from the oven and serve them hot alongside the guacamole for dipping or topping.
